Hard Drive Inspector 2.9 provides information regarding the hard drive disks on your computer, warning you about any error on your hard drives.
The main window of Hard Drive Inspector shows the current status of you hard drives and provides general information like the HDD model, capacity, total free space, power-on time, reliability, performance and error resistance.
Hard Drive Inspector has two modes: Basic Mode and Advanced Mode. The Basic Mode just provides the general information described above. The Advanced Mode shows two additional tabs: Advanced Info and S.M.A.R.T. Details.
The Advanced Info tab lists the manufacturer, model, serial number, firmware, logical geometry info (cylinders, heads and sectors per track), physical geometry info (cylinders, tracks per cylinder, sectors per track, and bytes per sector), capacity available, buffer size and more information.
The S.M.A.R.T. Details lists attributes for each drive and for each one of these attributes provides their current state, value and the warning flags. Also the current state provides the graphical information behavior of each one of these attributes.
Hard Drive Inspector can be set up according to the needs, and also can send a report by e-mail using SMTP without installing any e-mail client. The reports also can be saved for further analysis.
The Hard Drive Inspector installation process is very easy to perform and only requires 7 Mb.
Hard Drive Inspector 2.9 works on Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista platforms.
